On the Connect Systems it is one list which is more difficult to work with. Anytone also keeps the Talk Group list separate from the Contact List. It is very easy and does not require you to have Excel to export and import contact lists into the radio. I purchased the 868 from Connect Systems since I bought their private label line of DMR radios (CS800, CS800D and CS750) in the past. I have now owned the 868 for over a year. Much better than the Connect Systems radios I owned Works on Composition Media car audio of the Volkswagen group (at least up to VW GOLF 7!)

I can see traffic and hear it ok.just can't seem to talk.Īny idea what's going on? I'd like to learn how to troubleshoot better with issues like this.EMail SubscriptionRegistered users are allowed to subscribe to specific review topics and receive eMail notifications when new reviews are posted. Restarted hotspot and radio.still same issue. Looking at the dashboard it shows I called TG 91 and TG 91 is calling me with my message back. At first, I though I was not he parrot channel.and I'm not. So figured things were going well.īut recently, when I key up to call CQ or say I'm monitoring, I get a private call back basically repeating what I just said. This morning I made contact to a person in Portugal and another in Australia. When I connect I'm able to see traffic on the dashboard on the hotspot and I can hear people talking. Since it's using the Brandmiester system, I have it programmed for Talkground 91,92,93 for now. I then re-programmed my codeplug for my radio to be able to talk to it. So I got a hotspot.įollowed the directions to set it up. My office is in the basement, and while I'm working on getting a line to the attic, I wanted to keep practicing. There are two DMR repeaters not too far, but I can only be in some spots in my house to hear them. I got a Anytone AT-D868UV and learned to create a codeplug for it. I've gotten some radios to learn on and been doing good on the the analog side.
